A premier network of independent surgeons.
Independent surgeons across North Texas, united by the infrastructure and support of Texas Surgeons Network.
Our story
Built by surgeons, since 1998
Texas Surgeons Network is the parent group that brings independent surgical practices across North Texas together. It started with Urgent Surgery Associates (URSA), founded in 1998 at Baylor University Medical Center by Matthew Lovitt, MD, FACS. North Texas Critical Care (NTCC) joined in 2014.
Today we're based in Dallas and work as one surgical network across the DFW metroplex and North Texas.

Empowering surgeons
Independent, and stronger together.
Our surgeons own their practices. Texas Surgeons Network gives them the infrastructure and support of a large group, so they can focus on the medicine.
We work with every major hospital system in the area, including Baylor Scott & White Health, HCA, Texas Health Resources, Texoma Medical Center, Children's Health, among others.
Our mission
“Our mission is to operate as a premiere network of independent surgeons and to serve as a unified voice within a highly competitive and evolving healthcare marketplace.”
We Empower Surgeons
